30 years ago, a small band of immigrants, and I'm unsure if they were or were not refugees, took a store full of hostages in Sacramento, terrorizing them for hours, and finally shooting some of them dead as they laid helplessly on the floor. While it's true that a majority of refugees or immigrants become upstanding citizens, the media is loathe to publish anything these days showing the slightest tarnish of their demographic. This always begs the question for me: Why does the worry of anti-immigrant sentiment rule over the worry of anti-American sentiment?
