  • DHS Chief Once Again Denies Real Immigration Enforcement

The new rules appear to only address the worst criminals, and leave us with the Drunk driving ones, the thieves, con men, and habitual assault and batter'ers. It's all about trying to put a prettier dress on the illegals while the government does everything in its' power to try and keep the majority of the illegals here to compete against us.

The revised program now requires local and state law enforcement agencies to first resolve any criminal charges that led to the arrest of the immigrants.

It also creates three priority levels for the immigrants who are to be arrested and detained. Immigrants convicted or arrested of major drug offenses or violent offenses such as murder, manslaughter, rape, robbery or kidnapping are the top priority.

It seems to fit in with Obama's "new priority" concerning employers who hire illegal aliens.

The old white house regimes played limited sweep and deportation show, but did not address the cause - employers.

However, the new program seems to be a limited show concerning employers, something to forestall criticism while conditioning the masses to accept amnesty, much like the amnesty 1986 shell game was pulled off.

The further question is that while tagged employers may indeed fire mismatched employees, what is to keep the newly unemployed illegal alien from going on welfare or receiving unemployment benefits?

I have in front of me my last California unemployment check and the attached paperwork which says in part above the required recipient's signature -I DECLARE UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY THAT I AM A U.S. CITIZEN OR NATIONAL; OR AN ALIEN IN SATISFACTORY IMMIGRATION STATUS AND PERMITTED TO WORK BY USCIS.

No one from the state ever verifies that requirement. And, if I remember the figure right, California has about 40% of the nation's fifty states worth of welfare recipients, and the understanding is that California lets welfare recipients collect far longer than the federal cutoff mandate.

E-verify and finger prints should be required for any sort of employment or public services.
